Did you know there’s little to no Prevention of deed fraud? There’s simply punishment afterward… IF it’s caught. The Michigan Notary Association has issued a deed fraud alert system where if you own a property, you can sign up for deed fraud alerts if there are changes to the deed.

Introducing: Paid Newsletter Subscriptions. That deed fraud alert is the kind of thing you can expect as sneak peek content from your paid substack subscription. Paid subscribers get the newsletter on Sunday. Free subscribers get it Tuesday. All that and more can be your perk for signing up to support our Pay What You Can notary & wedding ceremony services.

What’s on your to do list this week? I’m working on spring cleaning, but I guess it’s spring-clean-everything when you’re packing to move. Don’t worry, we’re not going far – in fact we’re moving closer into town! More land and sidewalks, it’s a win/win for me. When you’re done decluttering your junk drawer, and donating old clothes, start fresh – with your paperwork in order. #SpringCleaning #OrganizeYourLife #LifeAdmin #MobileNotary #WillsAndTrusts #PlanSmart
We changed our social media schedule and really started upping our game mid-week. There are a couple things that got posted this week that weren’t in the newsletter, so paid subscribers didn’t get their usual sneak preview. We look forward to a more engaging social media presence as we go forward! Be sure to like, share, follow, subscribe, and comment wherever you see us. Every time you book, refer, share, or subscribe, you're fueling more than a service—you're fueling purpose. #ThankfulEveryDay #SupportSmallBusiness #WithGratitude

Events this week: I’m going to try to get into Bridge Community Cafe on Sunday the 27th at 10am, but I haven’t scoped it out ahead of time so PLEASE double check my official events calendar which has up-to-the-minute information about drop-in hours. Tuesday & Thursday both have swim practice scheduled so I should be at the pool those evenings – as a reminder, it hinges on there being swim practice, so if it’s cancelled or my kid is sick, it’s the first one to be cancelled. If you RSVP to my drop-in hours on my bookings page, I can also reach out personally in the event of a cancellation.
