About Your Officiant
Love is love—and it deserves to be celebrated in whatever way feels right for you. Whether that means a quiet “just make it legal” moment, a bedside ceremony, or a simple legal ceremony now with a festive gathering later, your wedding should reflect your story—not tradition’s expectations.
I grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and I’m ordained through the Universal Life Church to perform weddings in all 50 states (and some countries abroad). My roots are Unitarian Universalist, but I carry a broader vision: a child of the universe, shaped by a web of interdependence.
As a genderqueer person with dynamic disabilities, I understand the need for ceremonies that are safe, affirming, and accessible. My goal is simple: to make weddings affordable and meaningful for people in historically marginalized communities—especially LGBTQIA+ families, chronically ill, and disabled folks. Because everyone deserves the chance to honor their love, with or without the paperwork, in whatever way feels true.

Marriage rights aren’t equal until all families are recognized—disabled, LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and beyond.
On My Way Michigan is here to honor every love and every signature.
